Irma’s “hurricane party” at Clearwater’s Coachman Park, overturned palm trees, toppled lampposts and hurled about massive tree branches. After clearing the grounds of City buildings and downtown streets, local VMs met to restore the park to its pre-Irma look. VMs began by removing debris and small tree branches scattered across the main grounds of the park. They then tackled the outskirts of the park and surrounding roads where larger tree branches and palm trees had fallen, eventually returning Coachman Park to its normal, well-kept appearance.
